A Hop 7 bet is a one-roll wager on a specific dice combination that totals 7: the 1-6, 2-5, or 3-4. Each pays 15:1 and has a 1-in-18 chance of hitting per roll (5.56% probability). They're a step up in payout from Any 7 (4:1) but carry an 11.1% house edge — firmly in proposition territory. Some players use them as a hedge on the come-out roll.
